Student exchange programs
Mod’Spé Paris Central Europe offers its students an opprotunity to complete a part of their academic program within the partner university.
During one or two semesters you can discover different ways of teaching and reasoning, meet students of other nationalities, improve significantly your foreign languagere and simply live an extra-ordinary experience.
The Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM)
The bilateral exchange programme between Mod’Spé Paris and UQAM gives you the opportunity to study at this Canadian institution.
The Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) is a public, urban, French-speaking university located in the Quebec province of Canada. UQAM is a dynamic and innovative institution which offers more than 300 programs at all levels. Students join the École des Sciences de la Gestion (Management Science School – ESG UQAM) or one of the university’s six faculties (humanities, communication, politics and law, science, education and human sciences). Each year, the university welcomes more than 2,200 foreign students from 80 countries.
École Supérieure de Mode de Montréal (ESMM) is a part of ESG UQAM. It was founded in 1995 through a partnership between the Université du Québec à Montréal and the Groupe Collège LaSalle to bring a solution for new academic programs required to satisfy the new needs created by the development of technologies and industry.
The exchange program with UQAM is possible for 1, maximum 2 semesters (Fall and/or Spring) within the “Commercialisation de la mode” option of the Bachelor in Fashion management and Design (Bachelor en gestion et design de la mode). This program is designed to give students the fashion marketing knowledge and skills they need to coordinate the marketing of a full collection of fashion garments, based on data relating to domestic and foreign markets.
This exchange program is open to two students each semester.
To apply for the UQAM exchange program:
- Submit to International Relations department of MOD’SPE Paris your cover letter and a transcript of your marks from your last semester before January 10. Applications will be analyzed internally and a shortlist of interested candidates will be drawn up.
- If you are selected prepare your UQAM application. Please see the Documents Checklist . Submit 3 copies of your application and all related documents (1 original and 2 copies) to International Relations Department to attention of Kristina Mossessyants before February 14.
- Once you receive an official UQAM admission letter prepare your stay in Montreal.

The University of Rhode Island
URI is divided into eight colleges and offers more than 80 disciplines in total. Students can enroll in courses in such disciplines as humanities, science, business administration, engineering, economics and human sciences.
It is the largest public university campus in Rhode Island, located in the small town of South Kingstown (population 23,000), in the south-east of the state. It is just a few minutes from some stunning beaches and the fascinating cities of Newport and Providence.
The University of Rhode Island and Mod’Spé Paris have joined forces to offer a bilateral exchange program. You will spend up to two semesters at URI (Fall and/or Spring), following the “Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design” program. This exchange program is open to two students each semester.
The URI’s Department of Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design houses a historic collection of textiles and outfits – one of the largest in the United States.
To apply for the URI exchange program:
- Submit to International Relations department of Mod’Spé Paris your cover letter and a transcript of your marks from your last semester before January 10. Applications will be analyzed internally and a shortlist of interested candidates will be drawn up.
- If you are selected prepare your URI application. Please see the Application Documents Checklist. Submit 2 copies of your application and all related documents (1 original and 1 copy) to International Relations Department to attention of Kristina Mossessyants before Mach 10 for a Fall semester and before June 30 for a Spring semester.
- Once you receive an official URI admission letter prepare your stay in Kingston.

Internships abroad
The main aim of our international partnerships is to provide MOD’SPE Paris Central Europe students with an opportunity to gain work experience abroad and participate in academic programs delivered by our partner institutions.
MOD’SPE Paris Central Europe deliberately provides its students with the chance to carry out their year-end internships abroad. Each year, the school’s partner institutions send us a list of internship offers from fashion companies in their respective countries.
